Day One: Journey to the Wild & Boat Cruise on the Nile
Your safari begins early in the morning with a warm meet and greet by our driver-guide at your hotel in Kampala at 6:30 AM. We embark on a panoramic drive northwest through the historic Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town. Along the way, take in views of rural Uganda and its lush greenery. By lunchtime, we arrive at Murchison Falls National Park and check in at your lodge.
In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Victoria Nile. This two-hour journey takes you upstream toward the base of the mighty Murchison Falls. Along the way, you’ll spot pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, and waterbuck, as well as numerous bird species, including the rare Shoebill stork. The cruise culminates at the dramatic “Devil’s Cauldron,” where the Nile explodes through a narrow gorge—offering a fantastic photo opportunity. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day Two: Game Drive & Top of the Falls
After an early breakfast, set out for a morning game drive across the northern sector of the park. This is prime time for wildlife viewing, and you may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, hartebeests, and various antelope species. The drive lasts about four hours, offering plenty of chances to take stunning wildlife photos.
Return to the lodge for a hot lunch and some rest. Later in the afternoon, head out to explore the top of Murchison Falls. Stand in awe as the Nile compresses from 50 meters to just 6 meters wide and plunges 40 meters with a thunderous roar, forming a breathtaking rainbow-filled spray. It’s a perfect moment to capture the falls in all their natural glory. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day Three: Sunrise Safari & Optional Rhino Tracking
Enjoy a final early morning game drive as you exit the park—another chance to spot wildlife in the golden hours of dawn. Located in Nakasongola, Ziwa is the only place in Uganda where you can see southern white rhinos in the wild.
At Ziwa, you’ll also have the opportunity to explore birdlife, enjoy nature walks, or take part in a canoe ride to spot the elusive shoebill. After lunch en route, continue your journey back to Kampala, arriving in the evening.
